Communities In Schools offers Reality U Financial Literacy to students in 8th grade-high school age to bring a bit of “reality” in a 75-minute personal finance simulation.    Students imagine their life as a 26-year-old and complete an online lifestyle survey.   This information is entered into our software, along with their current GPA, to create a unique and individualized future scenario.

National PTA Reflections

Hey student artists.....have you started working on your entry for National PTA's Reflections 2024-25? Entry is FREE. We hope many of our talented students will participate!

 

This year's theme is "Accepting Imperfection". Choose from 6 categories including visual and performing arts. You can submit an entry in all 6 categories (one entry per category).

International Night

Join us for an evening of cultural exploration featuring displays from around the world, mouthwatering international cuisine, and captivating student performances. The Simpson PTSA Health & Wellness Committee is encouraging our families to explore all that Georgia has to offer this Fall. We are sharing a list of fairs and festivals to enjoy as we move toward cooler temps and the holiday season.

Mark your calendar! Below are the dates for the upcoming CCSD Board Meetings through the end of the school year. Unless otherwise notes, each meeting begins at 2pm with a work session and public comment, followed by the 7pm Board meeting with public comment. Meetings occur at 514 Glover Street, Marietta or are available ONLINE by clicking HERE. You can also watch previous board meetings via the link above.
