The Simpson Eagle Environmental Team "SEET" is working on a Glass Recycling project in March. Please don’t throw out any glass over the next few weeks. Set it aside for a great cause! We will collect glass for a recycling contest on Saturday, March 16th, here on campus.

We learned that glass sent to regular recycling centers is rendered mostly useless, but glass sent to special recycling centers dedicated to glass is 100% recyclable.

The glass we collect from families and staff (and yes, any kind of glass bottle is fine – just rinse it out, please 😉) can earn Simpson up to $2500 to reinvest in the school.

Participating families will earn PBIS points for students and
be entered into a raffle for many other prizes!

Kennesaw Mountain High School and Cobb County School District are hosting Kennesaw Mountainfest on April 13th.

 

It will be a family fun day with children's activities including a variety of inflatables, a petting zoo, face painting and kid's games. We are offering Discounted Play All Day Wristbands Here for the inflatables play area.

There will also be about 100 craft, product and service vendors. There will be live musical entertainment performances from multiple CCSD school groups and professional groups all day. In the evening, we are excited to offer a concert featuring DEPARTURE, the nation's greatest JOURNEY tribute band.
