SAVE THE DATE! Community and Family Events:Â Planning has begun for two popular family engagement events during the second semester. Mark your calendar for STEAMapalooza on January 26th and International Night on March 29th. More information will be shared in the upcoming months.
National PTA School of Excellence: Thank you to everyone who filled out the baseline survey. After the results are analyzed and shared with the National PTA, we will receive a roadmap to implement for the rest of this school year. After the end-of-year survey is complete, we hope to receive a two-year School of Excellence designation. Thank you for your involvement and patience.
Hearing and Vision Screenings: PTSA would like to thank all the parents who volunteered to help with the screenings that took place earlier this month.

School Store and Honoring Our Heroes Essay update:Â Due to unforeseen circumstances, PTSA is unable to open the School Store this year. Also, ECCC (East Cobb County Council of PTAs) has discontinued their support for the "Honoring Our Heroes" Essay program. Simpson PTSA will not be offering this program at least for the current school year.
