Volunteer with the PTSA
There are many ways to be involved in your children's educational experience in Middle School!! The PTSA is committed to a variety of programs and we always welcome those who are interested in helping. Please contact us to let us know how you would like to participate!
We always need additional volunteers for any of our Committees. There is a Committee for every interest and time commitment. Even working parents can contribute! It's a great way to be involved in your child's education and meet new people as well.
Your help is needed! Complete the Volunteer Interest form and we will be in touch with you. There is no commitment by completing this interest form.
VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS
ALL VOLUNTEERS must complete the Ident-a-kid verification per Cobb County requirements.
* Not applicable for PTSA sponsored after school events (scheduled using Facilities Request)
* Not applicable for school events where parents are in attendance with their child(ren)
All volunteers helping during events with student interaction at Simpson Middle School must complete a Volunteer Application and background check prior to volunteering this year.
Any Non-Cobb County School employee wishing to serve our schools must complete the application.
Please note this is school specific and is required by the County. CCSD will cover the cost of the background checks once the user has submitted the application.
The application process can take up to 72 hours so please plan accordingly if you have an upcoming volunteer session. Once the application is completed, it is good for one calendar school year.
